Missy and I spent some time this weekend in Freeburg with her family at her moms family reunion. We had a blast and got to see a lot of people we only get to hang around with on the holidays.
That got me to thinking, there are only 85 days left until Christmas! I better start Christmas shopping now.
Today Chris Sisk and I went to the MU vs Buffalo game in Columbia and had a blast. It was fun to hang out in the stadium watching MU close out the non-confrence season 4-0. It was also really neat to see Chase Daniel sit a Big 12 record with 21 straight pass completions.
We started off the day by "tailgating" with FCA in the Hearnes center with a Pizza lunch. The coolest part of the day was hanging out with my favorite MU basketball player JT Tiller. Here is a picture we snapped, sorry I look so goofy:
Missy and I have really been getting into watching MU football this year. We had some friends over yesterday and watched MU just kill Nevada.
We also noticed today that it is really starting to cool off in the evening. We are both enjoying it. If anything I really hope it stops my grass from growing so fast. I have had to mow every four days all summer.
We have also been getting about 6 inches of rain a week and when that happens we get this in our back yard:
I just got back from a week of hanging out in Louisville for the NALIT Conference. Overall I learned a lot and picked up a bunch of stuff I don't think I would have normally thought about.
The Marriott downtown was really nice and the veiw from my room was pretty awesome:
Next year it is off to Hawaii!
