What Are These Things in My Yard?

So I have two yard mysteries for you today.

The first mystery is what kind of Mushroom is this? Its not like any of the other ones I have seen in my yard:

The second mystery is what kind of animal is making these holes in my yard? I fill them in after mowing the yard and the next day they are back. My best guess is frogs due to the numbers I am seeing in my yard these days:

Softball Game 4

We had a late game tonight it was a lot of fun, even though we still didnt win (O-4). I did man up tonight and hit the ball out of the infield, but I had two errors on routine fly balls that I over played. I guess thats why we play in the D League.

Why does my weedeater hate me?

I get done push mowing the yard and I have about 15 feet left of trimming to do and since its about 95 degrees outside so you know what has to happen, my weed eater runs out of string. So the last 15 feet of weed eating takes me about as long to do as the rest of the yard. I have to find the string, reload the string, restart the weed eater, notice I didn't do it right, redo the string and then finish up.

That gets me thinking that there hasn't been a time this year that my weed eater hasn't ran out of string or got tangled, or like last week where I "weed ate" my own ankle.

I think I hate my weed eater as much as it hates me!

No Softball...

We had our second week off yesterday. I really wish we would have played yesterday, the weather was about as nice as you could have asked for.

No Softball

Some kids tore up the softball field after it rained on Monday night so our softball game was canceled last night. So that means we will not have a softball game for two weeks. I was really looking forward to playing and I hope I don't get too rusty during our "All Star Break".

Softball Game 3

We played a bunch of High School Kids this week. We didn't play our best and we couldn't get our bats going but everyone had a blast and the weather was really good.

Fix-A-Windshield

My Alero took a rock to the windshield yesterday on my way home from Eric's house and put a nice size Crack along the window. I called around this morning and it was going to cost me around $200 to fix so after some goggling I found this product:

Fix-A-Windshield, Do-It-Yourself Windshield Repair Kit

I picked it up at Auto-Zone for about $10 and it seemed to fix the crack fairly well. If you look closely you can still see it but it looks nearly invisible from about 45 to 90 Degrees.
