Missy and I rode in to St.Louis with the Schmitz’s family and went to the Cardinal’s Game tonight and boy did we see a good game. The Cardinals finally lowered their magic number to two and hopefully 0 tomorrow afternoon.

The picture I am most proud of is of Albert Pujols* from tonight’s game that shows him blasting a three run home run in the 5th inning. You can even see the ball in this picture.

Matt (the landscaper) called me at work this morning to inform me that they are having to push back the start date on the yard work because the brick company doesn’t have enough retaining wall stones to start the job.

He said they should be in by late next week and they hope to start the job by then.

Missy and I dint do much this weekend. We went and watched Missy’s little sister play volleyball and got one good picture (we tried to get more but the gym they played in was really dark). Other than that we jut stayed at home and I watched some football (GO MU).

I think the yard work should start sometime this week.

KRCG showed up this afternoon with the landscape contractor to film a commercial and to show us the layout of the yard.

Here are the next couple of steps:

1) The contractor will send us a CAD drawing of the yard.
2) They will start the yard work next week and should have it done within a couple of weeks.

We will take pictures as soon as any work starts.

Missy and I have won the Landscape Envy contest! I just got off the phone with KRCG and the guy who is going to put in the yard is going to call me today and see what he can do with the back yard.

We still haven’t heard about the yard yet, it kind of annoying that they haven’t announced a winner yet. Other than that we are just spending the day and the weekend hanging around the house.

I get asked atleast a couple of times a day if we won landscape envy. I would love to jump up and down and tell everyone that we did but KRCG hasn’t announced a winner yet.

This weekend Missy and I spent Saturday night at her parent’s house with her family and older brother Matt who is getting ready to fulfill a contract for a year overseas. We had a really great time and will both miss Matt while he is gone. Please keep him in your prayers.

The contest is over and the winner is… not going to be announced until the week of September 11th. So now I have to wait between 11-17 days to find out if we won ( as you may know waiting isn’t one of my strong points).

Missy and I used our viral marketing skills and sent out tons of emails to our family, friends and people we work with to ask them to vote for us. Thanks to everyone for taking time out of their schedule to vote for us. I especially want to think everyone from MLUG, AMAA and Slanty.net for helping us get out the vote.
